CDs & Books!

Oracle: Pool Of Dreams -
I heard this CD once before and still have some fo the songs, but I can't move them to my iPod or ANYTHING, they are STUCK on my old ass MP3 player since... like, 3-4 years ago! SO, I decided to see if I could find this CD online somewhere. Lucky for me, I found it on AMAZON for $3.50 (yes, that includes shipping)! I should have it between July 19 and July 30. Sucks that I have to wait so long, I'll just think of it as a birthday gift to myself!"Restoring The Goddess: Equal Rites for Modern Women"; Barbara G. Walker-
Look familiar??? LOL. So, I'd read some of this book before, but there were seriously pages missing (IN A BOOK FROM THE PUBLIC LIBRARY, WTF?)! I remembered I liked the book (couldn't remember the name, only the cover image matching that of the CD I wanted), so I went and looked for it on the local library's web page. YAY FOR ME FINDING IT! So, I found the title, looked for it on AMAZON, and ... dun duh nuh NA! I'm getting it. Paid $12.21 for it, with shipping, not bad, and should have it between June 28 and July 13. Personally, I hope SOONER! I really want to read this book again!"Where To Park Your Broomstick: A Teen's Gude To Witchcraft"; Lauren Manoy-
OK, first off, this SOUNDS worse than it is. All I can say is that this is the book that SERIOUSLY changed my life. I read it for the first time in high school, by chance. Picked it up at the public library for whatever reason, I think just curiosity, and I was NEVER the same. This is the book that made me realise I AM NOT HOPELESS AND I AM NOT ALONE! I may be a FREAK, but that I can deal with. So, after many years of remembering this book... I BOUGHT IT! It cost me a whole... *drumroll* ... $4.15... WOO yeah I spent a fortune on it! I'll have it between June 28 and July 14! I'm super excited!"The Skeptical Feminist: Discovering The Virgin, Mother, and Crone"; Barbara G. Walker-
ok, this book I have not read, never even heard of it until VERY recently (seriously, it hasn't even been a week, or maybe it has, but barely). I thought it sounded like something I would like to read and it is by the same author that wrote "Restoring The Goddess..." so, really, how bad can it be? I hope it is as informative and reassuring as I imagine it will be! I paid $4 even and will have it around June 25-July 13 (NO I don't have it yet *sad*). Oh, and sorry about the TINY pic, it was all I could find!"Rites Of Pleasure: Sexuality in Wicca and NeoPaganism"; Jennifer Hunter-
I'm a total... yeah... something. I guess I'm just crazy? I dunno, YOU TELL ME! (seriously, tell me if you think I'm crazy... or if you think I'm NOT crazy, I'd like to know either way!) I think the title of this book is PRETTY DAMN self-explanitory so I'm not gonna go into it... I paid $6.34 for it and I can expect it between June 25 and July 13, but I don't have it yet, I HOPE SOON THOUGH! "The Woman's Encyclopedia of Myths and Secrets"; Barbara G. Walker-
Also by Barbara, which is mostly why I bought it, that and the fact that it sounded better than some of her other books, so ... Yeah. I spent $9.15 total and should have it between June 25 and July 13, but don't have it yet. I'll make sure I tell y'all when I get my books (the day of or after) and leave reviews. I one of them is an absolute fave after I dig through it a bit, I'll make sure you know!!!"Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs"; Scott Cunningham-
I really wanted a good herbal and remembered one from MANY years ago that I read through a bit... But this wasn't it... I don't know WHAT it was... I seriously CANNOT remember for the life of me. It MAY have been Culpeper's Herbal, but NO CLUE! So, anyway... I hope this one will be as good, or better! *crosses fingers* It cost me $11.93 and will be here June 25-July 13..."The Essential Handbok of Women's Spirituality & Ritual"; Barbara G. Walker-
I got this one for the same reason I got the other books by Barbara G. Walker that I haven't read. Looks interesting. So I'm hoping it WILL be! Paid $5.62 and should have it between June 25 and July 13!Now for the CDs I picked up at the pawn shop. I paid $5.41 for the both of them! I seriously ADORE Barbra Streisand and I AM SO SAD that she isn't doing anymore concerts! :'( I would LOOOOOVE to see her in person. But, I am forced to settle for videos other people have posted on youtube etc. from her concerts in the past. WHY did I have to be born in THIS generation!?! I'm missing out on EVERYTHING I love! I'm not kidding either! (But that's another story, I guess... GAH)
